The wait is over as the much-anticipated Didsbury Festival returns this month for the 39th year running, one of village’s largest and most popular community event in the Didsbury calendar. Taking place on Saturday 16th June the festival brings residents, family and friends together come rain or shine, whilst raising money local concerns. Organised by the Didsbury Community Association and ran by a team of dedicated volunteers on the day, this year’s festival starts with the procession which leaves St Catherine’s school at 11am, makes its way through the village and into Didsbury Park. Didsbury Park provides the beautiful backdrop for this event where you can enjoy live music and dance performances from local groups, visit the festival’s fairground, sample delicious eats and drinks from artisan traders or even take part in the lively Zumba session! Julian Wadden is proud to support this wonderful community event which is great fun for all the family and we look forward to seeing you there!
