This year’s switch-on fun kicks off at 5.30, with free craft activities for children in the library (under 8s must be accompanied).
Then, it’s everybody out onto Wilmslow Road for the countdown to Christmas (from 6.50pm)! Enjoy live music from Manchester Contemporary Youth Choir and festive fun hosted by our brilliant MC, Andrew Simcock. He’ll be announcing Didsbury’s Christmassiest windows, before welcoming a Very Special Guest (the clue’s in the picture!), who’ll arrive in style for that all-important lights switch-on. Drinks and nibbles, kindly provided by local traders, will add to the seasonal cheer.
